TTD Chairman lays foundation stone for Sri Krishna Devaraya Sadhan

Tirupati, Apr 23 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B Karunakara Reddy laid the foundation stone for a Sri Krishna Devaraya Sadhan, with an estimated cost of Rs 4.30 crore, near Srinivasa Mangapuram, about 18 km from here today.

He also laid the foundation stone for a pilgrim shelter, with an estimated cost of Rs six crore, at Srivari Mettu close to Srinivasa Mangapuram temple.

Speaking on the occasion, TTD Chairman said the ancient footpath leading to Tirumala temple from here would be developed for the benefit of the pilgrims as the route was the shortest compared to Alipiri footpath.
