Security scare as PM returns from Ranchi

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Security agencies in the National Capital was thrown into a dizzy after Air Traffic Control Radar found an unusual spot on the screen even as special aircraft carrying Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was preparing to land.

While there was no official confirmation security sources claimed that an unusual spot on the radar screen gave an indication that another aircraft was in the vicinity of the aircraft carrying Dr Singh from Ranchi.

The Prime Ministers aircraft however made a safe landing there it was not yet confirmed whether the security scare was the result of a faulty radar or another aircraft had accidently strayed into the PM's aircraft approach path.
