Rahul's love for dalits a mere show: MP CM

Dhar, MP, Apr 23 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today alleged that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's affection for dalits was sheer show.

Commenting on the Amethi MP's recent visit to Bundelkhand region, Mr Chouhan told mediapersons here that dalits' problems would not be solved merely by expressing affection but through relief efforts on priority basis.

''Bundelkhand is suffering a drought for the past four years. I urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar to tour the region and provide adequate economic assistance but the Centre paid no attention,'' the Chief Minister said.
