Pakistan arrests Indian fishermen
Islamabad, Apr 23 (UNI) Pakistani Marine Security Agency (PMSA) has arrested 18 Indian fishermen from Arabian Sea area for violating allegedly it's territorial waters.
The fishermen with their three boats were arrested from Jakhau in Kutch district bordering Pakistan on Monday, according to local media reports today.
''Within one week, the PMSA arrested 36 Indian fishermen and seized six boats. All these 36 Indian fishermen belonged to Porbandar area,'' reports added.
Pakistan's private Online news agency quoted Gujarat Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Dilip Sanghani as saying that he would discuss the issue of release of all the fishermen during his meeting with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar in Delhi.
