One lynched for attempt to rape
Samastipur, Apr 23 (UNI) In yet another case of vigilant justice, one person was lynched for allegedly trying to rape a girl at Kelbanni-Dahiyar village under Rosra police station area in the district today.
Police said one Mithilesh Singh entered the house of Manju Devi, a ward member in the village and allegedly tried to rape her twelve-year-old daughter. But the family members caught him and beat him to death.
The situation was tense in the village, police said, adding the matter was being investigated.
