One held with contraband in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, Apr 23 (UNI) A local resident was apprehended by officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) from a private luxury bus, near Shamalaji here, after a consignment of charas, weighing about 6 kg, was seized from him.
Acting on a tip-off, the NCB officials intercepted the bus coming from Jaipur (Rajasthan) and arrested Mehboobmiyan Makboolmiyan Sheikh with the consignment. He had received the contraband from a Kashmiri person there.
Later, he was produced before the court at Himmatnagar, who remanded him to judicial custody.
