Ledger's ex makes first screen performance after his death

London, Apr 23 : After grieving over the loss of his former lover Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams's life is back on track and she's making her first on-screen performance since the actor's untimely death.

The film 'Deception' is set in a "world of intimacy not intricacy" and sees her pair up with actors Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor.

The movie tells the story of an accountant who is introduced to a mysterious sex club by his lawyer pal, played by Jackman.

But in the new world, Ewan Mcgregor's character Jonathan McQuarry soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman's disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist.

Williams met and began dating Ledger on the set of Brokeback Mountain, and their daughter, Matilda Rose, was born on October 28, 2005 in New York City.
