Cambridge to set up devp centre in Chennai

Mumbai, Apr 23: Cambridge Solutions Ltd has announced the expansion of its Indian operations with the setting up of a new development centre in Chennai. The facility will augment the work being done by Cambridge Solutions at its existing facilities in Chennai, Bangalore and Pune. This facility will employ 200 skilled resources and dedicated training facility.

''The new centre will meet the growing requirements of our customers in the banking and financial services markets, besides housing some technology practices,'' said M R Ravichandran, Chief Delivery Officer ITO Division, in a statement here today.

''It will further strengthen our global delivery model and add greater value to our customers. With this expansion, we have a capacity of around 800 seats in Chennai and a total capacity of over 1400 seats in India,'' he added.

As a leading player in establishing best practices in the industry, Cambridge is firmly committed in meeting the most stringent industry standards.

The Company's facilities at Chennai, Bangalore and Singapore are assessed for CMMI Level 5 version 1.1 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) for software staged representation, benchmarking best practices for management and engineering by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
