US officials to attend global issues forum in New Delhi
Washington, Apr 22 (UNI) US Under Secretary for Democracy and Global Affairs Paula J Dobriansky will lead the country's delegation in the sixth US-India Global Issues Forum, hosted by the Indian government in New Delhi on Thursday.
The delegation would include Assistant Secretary for Oceans, Environment, and Science Claudia McMurray and Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor David J Kramer.
The Forum develops new and expanded areas for cooperation between the two countries on multilateral issues such as the promotion of democracy, health, environmental protection, and human rights.
The Forum convened annually since 2002 alternates between the two countries.
