Security forces, maoists exchange fire, 4 injured

Hazaribagh, Apr 22: Four people, including two passers-by, were injured during an exchange of fire between security forces and CPI(Maoist) at Tapijharia under Vishnugarh police station in this district late last night.

Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh said here today that both the injured were rushed to Ranjendra Institue of Medical Sciences under critical condition.

Besides, two jawans of security forces also received minor injuries and were admitted to a nearby hospital, Mr Singh said.
