Rupee opens flat at 39.96/97 per USD

Mumbai, Apr 22: Rupee today resumed flat 39.96/97 compared to its last close at 39.97/98 against US Dollar on scattered dollar demand in the local market. Rupee changed little during the mid session, and traders said they were staying on the sidelines watching the central bank for cues ahead of its policy review on April 29. Later, Rupee was trading between at 39.92/93 and 39.97 per dollar compared to yesterday's close at 39.97/98.
