Prime Minister to visit Manipur in June

Imphal, Apr 22: Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is expected to visit Manipur in June to inaugurate the Khuga multipurpose project at Churachandpur district, official sources said here today.

However, the visit was not yet confirmed, the sources said, adding that the state Irrigation and Flood Control department was undertaking the work of the Khuga project to provide water to the people of Churachandpur district.
