London, Apr 22 : Veteran Hollywood beauty Lizabeth Scott does not seem to be too impressed with style icon Kate Moss, and insists that the supermodel looks all scruffy.
The 85-year-old star, who starred as many a femme fatale in the film noir movies of the 1940s, has worked opposite the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster and Elvis Presley.
"I saw Kate Moss and her new beau spread all over the cover on the newsstand the other day and thought they looked like vagrants; so scruffy and grubby - just awful," The Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
She added: "I'd like to see Miss Moss smarten up her act. Doesn't she know young women look up to her? Gawd, she'd have lasted ten seconds under the Hollywood studio system. Actually she'd never have been allowed through the studio gates."
In fact, the lady herself is still an ace when it comes to fashion, whether it is wearing Levis 501 jeans, swing coats and heels or wearing her hair blonde till this age. And to top it all, she still sticks to her trademark razor-sharp bob.
However, the legendary star was all praise for other modern day style icons like Victoria Beckham, burlesque performer Dita Von Teese and Twit girl Paris Hilton.
"Two of the three might not be the sharpest tools in the box," she says, without going into more details. But they are glamorous, attractive and always impeccably turned out," she said.
