Governor, CM condole death of Mrs Paul

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have expressed grief over the sad demise of Mr. Rajeshwari Paul, mother-in-law of Haryana Special Secretary, Environment, Mr Vijai Vardhan.

Mrs Paul, 75, passed away after a prolonged illness here today. She is survived by three daughters.

In a condolence message issued here today, the Governor and Chief Minister prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.

They also conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved family.

Mrs Paul had done her MSc (Geology). She retired as Head of Department, Mahila Mahavidayala, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh in 1996.
