eight labourers die in road accident in UP

Aligarh, Apr 22 (UNI) At least eight labourers were killed and 11 injured when a speeding bus crushed them here at Bidhanagar village under Gabhana police station area last night.

The incident took place when a minibus carrying a marriage party collided head on with matador ferrying labourers from Agra to Meerut.

All the deceased were travelling in the matador of which six died on the spot while two succumbed to their injury on way to hospital.

The driver and the conductor of the marriage party bus fled the scene.

The injured were rushed to government hospital here.
