Coromandel Fertiliser Q4 net dips 80% to Rs3.36 cr

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Coromandel Fertilisers Ltd today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 decreased 80 per cent to Rs 3.36 crore compared to Rs 16.76 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income for the quarter increased 33.88 per cent to Rs 584.4 crore compared to Rs 436.5 crore last year.

For the year ending March 31, 2008 its net profit increased 79.48 per cent to Rs 210 crore compared to Rs 117 crore last year.

Its total income for FY08 increased 81.76 per cent to Rs 3,757 crore compared to Rs 2,067 crore last fiscal.

The company said in a statement that its board has recommended a dividend of 175 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2008.
