13 JK officials suspended

Srinagar, Apr 22: Jammu and Kashmir government has suspended 13 officials of different departments in south Kashmir, an official spokesman said today.

He said the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, conducted a surprise checking of different government departments in the district.

During the inspection, he found 13 employees, including four belonging to Block Development Office (NDO), Kakpora, absent from duty.

The employees were later suspended.

More than 100 employees were suspended for remaining absent unauthorisedly from duty in the Kashmir Valley during the past three months.
