102 traders booked for violations in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 22: Jammu and Kashmir Legal Metrology department has booked 102 traders for various violations in the city, an official spokesman said today.

He said the checking squads of the department conducted extensive checking of different markets in the city.

During the checking, the department booked 102 traders for various violations of Weights and Measures Act.

A fine of Rs 37700 was also realised on the spot, he said.
