Raj govt hold centre resonsible for price rise
Jaipur, Apr 21(UNI) Rajasthan Food and Civil Supply Minister Ghanshyam Tiwari held the Centre responsible for steep rise in the prices of essential commodities.
Talking to reporters here today Mr Tiwari said the current upward trend in price line was due to the Centre's Export and Import Policy.
He said steps now being taken by the UPA government to curb price rise, would take some time to deliver results.
Over scope for raids to check stocks in the market, Mr Tiwari said there was no shortage of essential commodities in the market but the problem was with their high prices.
Moreover, the state government was empowered only to conduct raids to check stocks of wheat and kerosene, the Minister added.
