Jansangh Leader Chimanbhai Shukla passes away
Rajkot, Apr 21 (UNI) Erstwhile Jansangh Leader and former Member of Parliament Chimanbhai Shukla died here today after a brief illness.
He was 81. Advocate by profession, veteran BJP Leader Chimanbhai Shukla was suffering from inter-spinal lung disease and was admitted at Wockhardt Hospital here since last few days. He breathed his last at around 0430 hrs, Dr Kamal Parikh (MD), who was attending on him told UNI.
He is survived by his wife Kundanben, three sons -- Kaushik, Kashyap, Nehal and a married daughter Kashmiraben.
His funeral procession would take place today.
Meanwhile, opposition leader of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Shaktisinh Gohel, who was in Rajkot today, expressed grief and shock over his demise.
