Elderly woman killed in wall collapse

Pudukkottai, Apr 21: A 60-year-old woman was killed when a portion of a temple compound wall collapsed on her here yesterday.

Police said Rangammal, who used to clean the Shi Bairava Vinayagar temple, was fetching flowers from a plant near the compound wall when a portion of it collapsed on her.

She was rushed to the Government headquarters hospital here, where she succumbed to injuries, police added.
