Axis bank reports Rs/.361.4 cr net profit for Q4

Mumbai, Apr 21 (UNI) AXIS Bank Limited today reported a net profit of Rs 361.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 211.89 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

Total Income has increased from Rs 1642.61 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 2571.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008, the Bank stated in a release issued here.

The Bank had posted a net profit of Rs 1071.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as against Rs 659.03 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 5471.76 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 8800.80 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
