TDP, Cong workers joins TRS
Hyderabad, Apr 20 (UNI) Mandal level Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and workers from Mahaboob Nagar District today joined the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) in the presence of TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao at the party office here.
More than 500 workers of the TDP and Congress joined the TRS which was fighting for the cause of separate Telangana.
In his address, the TRS Chief said that the party would continue its struggle for Telangana until the dreams of the region's people were realised.
He exuded confidence the TRS would win 16 Assembly and four Lok Sabha seats in the byelections.
The seats fell vacant after the resignation of the TRS MLAs and MPs in March to protest the UPA Government's alleged failure in forming the Telangana State.
