Sikhs return home after offering prayers at Gurdwaras in Pakistan

Attari (Punjab), Apr 20 : Sikh pilgrims came back to India on Sunday after celebrating the harvest festival Baisakhi and visiting the several Gurdwaras in Pakistan.

They visited the Gurdwara Punja Sahib, Nankana Sahib, Sucha Sodha, Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Rorri Sahib, and Kartarpur.

"The shrines hold significant importance for us. We praise the Pakistani authorities who cooperated with us during our visit," said one of the pilgrims.

"We did not face any problem. The Pakistan Government took good care of us. It did more than we expected," said Bimla Devi, a devotee.

The Gurudwaras Punja Sahib holds immense importance since it is believed that Guru Nanak Dev had created the spring of water near the shrine.

"Our pilgrimage was a success. The security was very tight and the arrangements were very good. We cannot stop praising them," said Rajwant Singh, another devotee.
