New crime control scheme comes into force in Basti range

Siddharthnagar, Apr 20 (UNI) In a bid to curb growing crime in Basti, Sant Kabirnagar and Siddharthnagar districts, under the Basti police range, a new scheme has been launched from today.

As per the scheme, only capable sub-inspectors would be promoted as inspectors and in case of any crime coming to notice the latter would be held responsible and removed from the station concerned, Deputy Inspector General of Police K K Tripathi today told UNI.

In a meet, the incumbent inspectors have been warned against the same.
