Journalist, wife and children injured in road accident in HP

Shimla, Apr 20 (UNI) A journalist with a Hindi daily, his wife and children were seriously injured in a road accident at Bhanuti, about 25 km from here, in this district of Himachal Pradesh today, police said.

Dainik Tribune's state bureau head Shashikant, his wife and children were injured in the accident, which occurred at about 1600 hrs.

The police said the family has been admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) where the doctors described the condition of his wife and daughter as serious.

The cause of the accident was, however, could not be ascertained, they said and added that a case has been registered and investigations were on.
