Madhya Pradesh: Inmate injures 5 constables

Sehore (MP), Apr 20: A mentally-unsound undertrial inmate assaulted and slightly injured five constables after they failed to provide water to him at the district hospital here, police said today.

Tejsingh, who was convicted for patricide in sub-jail, was admitted to the hospital today where he demanded drinking water for a long time but was not provided. Being irked over it, Tejsingh attacked constables with the handcuffs yesterday.

Siddiquiganj-resident Tejsingh had fatally beaten his father for not arranging medical treatment for his prolonged illness.
