Engineer held on graft charges
Hyderabad, Apr 20 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today caught redhanded a Panchayat Raj assistant executive engineer (AEE) at Anantapur while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a complainant.
The ACB officials had arrested engineer Abdul Kareem Basha and recovered the tainted amount from him.
The accused would be produced before special judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation, an official release said.
