Godda, Apr 20 (UNI) Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Coal India Limited Partho S Bhattacharya today said the company would soon come out with its Resettlement and Rehabilitation policy.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Bhattacharya said the policy would be more focussed on providing education and health facilities besides other basic amenities.

Speaking about importance of Eastern Coal Field's Rajmahal colliery project, Mr Bhattacharya said supply of coal to two major thermal power stations at Kahalgaon and Farakka was being done by this unit.

Referring to the outsourcing from Rajmahal colliery, he said the company was not against the labourers but it was being done to reduce the production cost.
