Bomb presence info in Gomti Express turns hoax

Kanpur, Apr 20 (UNI) Tension prevailed in the Delhi-bound Gomti Express today following the presence of a bomb today.

However, the information turned out to be a hoax.

According to Government Railway Police (GRP), the rumour of a bomb inside the Gomti Express spread like fire, following which the train was stopped at Roora railway station and intense checking drive and dog squad were pressed into service.

The train left for Delhi after being late for three hours.
