BJP leader escape bomb attack

Varanasi, Apr 20 (UNI) BJP leader Ravindra Jaiswal today had a miraculous escape after bombs were hurled in front of his house in Khojawan under Bhelupura police station here.

According to police, Mr Jaiswal was talking to some people in the lawn of his house, when two motor cycle borne persons passed from there and threw bombs that dashed against a wall and burst with loud explosion.

Smoke filled in the area, creating penic in the locality.

The private security of the BJP leader was, however, along with him at the time of the attack.

Investigation was on.
