Pranab backs quota for 'creamy layer' in OBCs

New Delhi, Apr 18: India's Foreign Minister, Pranab Mukherjee has said that the government is in favour of opening up opportunities to the more affluent section among OBC"s, the creamy layer as well.

However, he said that decision of the apex court on affirmative action for students of the socially and educationally backward classes is binding.
