East Timor shaken by undersea earthquake

Jakarta, Apr 19: East Timor was affected on Saturday by an undersea quake that reportedly measured 6.4 on the Richter scale.

Reports reaching the Indonesian capital said several buildings in East Timor capital, Dili shook, but there were no reports of damage. East Timor lies in the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire where earthquakes are said to be frequent.
