''Special drive'' to clear pending bills: Minister

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Housing Minister B Satyanarayana today said the housing department would launch ''special drive'' to pay the pending bills of the beneficiaries of INDIRAMMA Housing Scheme from April 21 to 30 in the state.

Speaking to newspersons here, the minister said the department had received complaints that construction of houses was delayed due to non-payment of bills, because of the non-availability of officials and some technical problems.

Stating that all pending bills would be cleared in the special drive, he said there was no dearth of funds for the implementation of the scheme.
