Karnataka Congress candidates list to be out tonight

New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) The first list of Congress candidates for the Karnataka assembly elections will be released tonight.

AICC sources said here today that the list of candidates for the 89 assembly seats, which go to polls in the first phase on May 10, would be out tonight.

Sources said the Central Election Committee (CEC) had already cleared the list and submitted to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

"The list will be out by tonight,' the sources said.

Out of the 224 seats in the Karnataka state assembly, elections are held for the 89 seats in the first of the three-phased polls.
