I will be head of new Nepal government: Prachanda

Kathmandu, Apr 19 (UNI) Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist(CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda today said that the new governmnet will be formed under his leadership.

''I will present myself in front of you in a few days' times as the head of the new republican government. I will also put forward all the new plans for the formation of a 'New Nepal' and the plans for a new constitution,'' Kantipur online quoted Prachanda as saying.

He also said that the country will be declared a federal republic at the first meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA) as per the agreement between the Seven-Party-Alliance.

The Maoist Chairman under whose leadership the CPN-M succesfully fought and won the April 10 elections was speaking at a programme in Constituency-10 from where he was elected to the Assembly.

The programme was organised by the Maoists to express gratitude to the people for their support.

The Maoist supremo said that he will address the masses with new development plans after the government is formed under his leadership.

Prachanda visited various places of Kathmandu constituency-10 including Bagvairabh, Nagaun and Tanga.
