Bangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka and at isolated places over south interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Dharmasthala, Kundagol, Humchadakatte 3 each, Karatagi, Sringeri, Ranebennur 2 each, Bajpe, Savanur, Almatti, Napoklu one each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka and remained normal over interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded the highest temperature of 41.6 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over coastal Karnataka and south interior Karnataka and at isolated places over north interior Karnataka.
