Five-member team to participate in 18th Asian Senior Championship
Bangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) A five-member National Senior Team have been selected to participate in the 18th Asian Senior Taekwondo Championship to be held in Zhengzhou, China from April 26 to 28.
The team, comprising of three male and two female players, will leave from New Delhi to Zhengzhoou on April 23, according to a release here from Taekwondo Federation of India Secretary General T Praveen Kumar.
The team: Male: Sunil Kumar Fin-Haryana), Abdul Mobeen Khan (Fly-Services), Surendra Bhandari (Bantam-Assam) Female: Anjana Sharma (Bantam-MP) and Meera Chettri (Light-Sikkim).
Coach: Fariborz Askari (iran), Trainer: Premkumar (Services).
