Eight killed in explosion at cracker factory
Jehanabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Altogether eight people were killed and four others seriously injured in an explosion at a cracker factory under Town police station in the district today.
Police said the incident occurred when the crackers suddenly exploded in the factory at Shekhlam Chak area, killing three people on the spot.
Five others succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital.
The four injuured have been referred to the Patna Medical College and Hospital.
The cracker factory was functioning without any license and the matter was being investigated, police said.
