Student from Rajasthan drowns in Chenab in Jammu
Jammu, Apr 18 (UNI) A student drowned in river Chenab in tehsil Akhnoor of city outskirts, police said here today.
The victim, identified as Vishu Deepak alias Little, son of Ram Krishanan, was a B Ed student of National College of Education, Purkhoo.
He originally hailed from Padampur in Ganga Nagar district of Rajasthan, the police sources told UNI.
A police party on receiving information rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals to trace the body.
