HPCC president invites applications for Lok Sabha polls
Shimla, Apr 18 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president Viplove Thakur today invited applications from candidates aspiring to contest the Lok Sabha by-polls from Hamirpur constituency of the state.
Candidates aspiring to contest the by-elections should submit their applications with the HPCC along with a fee of Rs 10,000 on or before April 24, she said in a release here.
The by-polls for the Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency are being held following resignation by Prem Kumar Dhumal who has taken over as Himachal's Chief Minister after the Assembly elections last year.
