BBC adds video news clips to its website
Mumbai, Apr 18 (UNI) Leading global public broadcaster BBC World has launched embedded news video clips on its website, BBC.com, that allows users to view broadband-quality news video within the text content page, without launching a separate player.
''The embedded news clips allow us to bring video content into the heart of the story,'' said Sian Kevill Editorial Director of BBC World, in a release here yesterday.
Up to 30 international news reports and hourly one-minute World News summaries are viewed at BBC.com/news by 29 million people outside the United Kingdom every month with an estimated 50 per cent logging on to the news page, the release added.
