UP CM greets people on Mahavir Jayanti eve
Lucknow, Apr 17 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today greeted people of the state on the eve of Mahavir Jayanti.
In a message, the CM said ''Lord Mahavir gave the message of non-violence and truth to the people. His teachings are more relevant in today's world.
Lord Mahavir inspired the masses to co-exist, she added.
Ms Mayawati appealed to the people of the state to take inspiration from His life and teachings, besides contributing to the creation of an ideal society.
