3 persons killed in car accident in AP

Khammam (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 17: Three persons, including a woman, were killed and three others seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a culvert near Pinapaka village of Burgampadu mandal in this district today.

Police said the driver of the car, proceeding to Bhadrachalam from Hyderabad, lost control of the vehicle and hit the culvert. Two persons were killed on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries on the way to a hosptial.

The injured were admitted to a hospital in Kothagudem. All the vicitms, hailing from Hyderabad, were going to Bhadrachalam to attend a friend's marriage.
