Shiv Sena demands Goa AG's sacking
Panaji, Apr 17 (UNI) Shiv Sena Goa unit today urged state Governor S C Jamir to immediately sack Advocate General of Goa Subodh Kantak.
Goa Shiv Sena chief Upendra Gaonkar said the state government, that had no money to pay senior citizens' old age pension, under the Dayanand Social Security Scheme beneficiaries every month, was paying lakhs of rupees as fees to the Advocate General.
Mr Gaonkar demanded that all the extra amount paid to Mr Kantak, who has been alleged of double and excessive billing, should be recovered.
