Reference rate at Rs 39.94 per USD

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 39.94, down 2 paise from its yesterday's rate at Rs 39.96 per USD.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 78.7637 (78.6653) per Pound and Rs 39.12 (39.32) per 100 unit respectively, an RBI release said.
