RAK Airways to launch daily flight between Karippur, Ras Al Khaimah

Kozhikode, Apr 17 (UNI) The RAK Airways will become the first foreign airline to launch daily service to the Gulf region from India, with the starting of its operations from Karippur International Airport to Ras Al Khaimah on April 23.

The budget airliner will provide passage to the destination in the West Asia from Karippur at a meagre Rs 5,225 per person in its Boeing 757 airbus, with all passenger amenities, RAK Country Manager P V Valsaraj told mediapersons here today.

The airline has proposed to employ Malayalee air hostesses on board, considering large section of people from the region travelling in the Kerala-Gulf sector, he said.

He said the flight RT-601 will leave Ras Al Khaimah at 0340 hrs and arrive Karipur at 0900 hrs.

In the return direction, it will take off from Karipur at 1000 hrs and arrive at Ras Al Khaimah at 1230 hrs.

The airline has also proposed to launch its operations from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kochi soon as part of its expansion plan, he added.
