Preserving child's innocence part of H R development: Arjun

New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh today called upon the society to allow full play to the childhood of their young, letting them grow with their natural inclinations and feelings.

The Minister was speaking after receiving a delegation of 60 children from Madhya Pradesh led by Member of the National Comission for Minorities Harcharan Josh.

''Don't put any hatred into their hearts and preserve their innocence,'' he said.

The Minister said both religion and modern education was key to the overall development of the child.

He laid special emphasis on higher education of girls belonging to minority communities.

The delegation comprised of children who were winners in different competitions held by the Bhopal Gurudwara Management Committee.
