Pakistan sugar mill blast claims seven lives

Hyderabad, Apr 17 : At least seven persons were killed and twenty wounded on Thursday morning after a tank of hot liquid sugar syrup exploded.

The blast took place at Abadgar Sugar Mill near Buleri Shah Karim of Pakistan's Tando Mohammad Khan District.

The cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained.

There was no subversive act behind the incident; the Dawn quoted Attaullah Chandio, District Police Officer Tando Mohammad Khan, as saying.
