Ozone group announce environmental awards

Srinagar, Apr 17 (UNI) Expressing serious concern over environmental menace the Ozone Group of Companies have decided to support initiatives towards a clean and green environment.

Announcing the inception of ''Ozone Green Awards'', a recognition for excellence in environmental reporting by media houses, chairman of the Ozone Group of Companies, one of India's emerging healthcare and cosmeceutical group, S C Sehgal, said environmental issues like global warming and pollution in its many manifestations were the gravest menaces facing man in its 3.5 million year history.

The Awards have been initiated to address the issues affecting the environment and responsible in the degradation of our nature, he said.

These awards will be given away in a special ceremony at the Ozone Pratibha Manch, a platform to showcase the lesser known talent, in Srinagar on April 26 here.

He said the Ozone Group will constantly strive to support initiatives towards a clean and green environment.

''The Awards is part of this corporate concern in keeping with our core belief because life is precious,'' he said.

The Ozone Group is one of India's emerging specialty neutral healthcare group that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets healthcare products.
